Rose Window Quilts

The Rose Window quilts started with a commercial pattern by Alison Glass called Cathedral. Because we are us, we took the original pattern and ran with it, changing the spoke shapes and branching out into all sorts of ideas. The first one I made used an old Hoffman print called Florentine. Once I had everything appliqued, I promptly tucked the quilt top into a “safe place.” And couldn’t find it again. Finally, I made a second one (the more Deco-looking one). And then found the first one.
